It’s not just Iowa

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s not just Iowa. The Iowa poll that came out on Saturday showing Harris in the lead, shocked many. However, Iowa is not the only red state that has seen some lousy numbers for Donald Trump. For example, let’s take a look at the Wizard of Oz state — Kansas.

The Docking Institute at Fort Hayes University is also the subject of chatter. Why? A recent poll found Orange-face up by only five points. That is NOT a good number for Donald Trump. Why? Because Five points — FIVE POINTS in KANSAS is meager—it’s minuscule. In 2020, Donald Trump won the state of Kansas by 15 points!

Has Donald Trump heard about this poll? Perhaps he has and that’s why he’s in such a foul mood these days. Perhaps he sits in Mar-a-Lago, clicking his slippers together and saying: I want to know what the HECK is the matter with Kansas?! Donald Trump is the matter.

This is not to say Kamala is winning Kansas. But this writer’s point is that Donald Trump’s numbers look astoundingly bad, in OTHER states as well as Iowa. Then, there’s Nebraska. In a recent Siena poll in Nebraska’s 2nd congressional district, Harris was ahead by a stunning 12 points, 54-42.

Of course, there’s sweet, sweet Iowa, a state where women are reportedly supporting Harris by a 28-point margin. If ALL or even SOME of these polls are accurate, what this suggests is a softening of support for Donald John Trump in RED STATES, which would be a complete earthquake for the Trump campaign.

And because it is mere days before the election and time is slipping through the Trump campaign’s fingers, there simply is not enough time for them to turn things around. It must be a bitter pill to swallow for the Trump campaign.
