Donald Trump steps in it again, attacks Kamala Harris over her race and then announces he’s got “beautiful white skin”
Donald Trump already appears to be hemorrhaging voters over his campaign’s attack on Puerto Rico and his own escalating attacks on women (to say nothing of Mike Johnson’s attack today on the CHIPS Act). Now Trump has managed to step in it again, attacking Kamala Harris over her race and then … how can we say this … declaring his own whiteness in exact words.
During his rally speech today Trump had a meltdown about Kamala Harris being “Black or Indian” and then immediately announced that he has “beautiful white skin.” No really, he said this. It’s par for the course for Trump, who has long been disgustingly openly racist. But to get up three days before the election and announce that he has “white skin” after pointing out that his opponent isn’t white? This is on the nose even for him.
So we can now add this remark to the pile of stupid self-defeating things that Trump and his people keep saying down the stretch. This kind of insanity sure does seem to be turning the momentum in Kamala’s favor. So if Trump wants to keep running his mouth these final few days, please proceed.
