Too little too late
EVERYONE, it seems, are coming out to criticize the “floating island of garbage” comment Donald Trump’s comedian made at Madison Square Garden. Nikki Haley appeared on Fox News, where she let loose on Donald Trump, saying the “bromance” has gone far enough. “This is not a time for them to get overly masculine with this bromance thing that they’ve got going on.”
Indeed. Even conservative former reporter Megyn Kelly came out against the comments, questioning whether the Trump team had ANY female advisors at all, who might have been able to verbalize to the Trump team what a horrible idea this whole thing was.
Many leaders within the Latino community have said that it is too late — “far too late” for Donald Trump to right the wrongs of those campaign-ending words.
Some of these leaders said they’ve been out and about in the Latino community, speaking to voters, and many are turned off, utterly disgusted, and plan to either stay home or vote for Kamala Harris.
In the meantime, the Democrats found an unexpected ally in Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has come out to endorse Kamala Harris.
THAT item of news can’t be making Republicans too happy.
“I will always be an American before I am a republican.”
He also said four more years of trump would mean four more years of “bullshit.”
This has got this writer thinking. Has ANYONE endorsed Donald trump?
I am not speaking of the Bannons and the Tuckers of this world. I am talking about high-quality people, people who ‘ve held positions of leadership, people who command respect and return that respect. Has even ONE of said people endorsed Donald Trump?
The answer to that question is no, they have not. Look, if you have two pieces of artwork and one is bathed in watercolors and covered in gold, and the other one is dark, violent looking, and covered in poop, you’re probably going to choose the first choice.
So it seems Donald Trump’s campaign is growing more problematic by the hour, which isn’t surprising because it’s being run by real geniuses — no ground game, no ideas, no platform, no wins.
