What’s really wrong with Donald Trump

Donald John Trump has been canceling events right and left, leading to new concerns about his mental health among his inner circle. “Blanket canceling.” Over and over and over, Trump has been setting up interviews — and then backing out. “New sense of unease coming from the inner circle.”

Those words come from MSNBC host Johnathan Lemire. But it isn’t just him. This topic is being widely discussed because it is very rare—very rare indeed—that in the last few weeks of a presidential election, one of the candidates suddenly stops showing up at events.

“What’s wrong with him?” Well — we KNOW the answers in some respects to that question. “He’s tired.”

Whispers of Trump’s exhaustion are rippling through the political air. Many say the sheer VOLUME of events the creep is canceling is scaring the shit out of people close to him. Unease and dread.

“In the last few days, as Trump disappeared and, at best, swayed to music, you’ve got to ask the question: Is there something wrong with him?” Lamire continued. “He seems to be trying to run out the clock and that is dangerous news.”

Indeed. Trump seems to have lost all interest in taking questions and doing interviews (even friendly ones) and, in general, seems to be running far, far away from cameras and questions—not like him at all.

It is especially concerning to people close to him because Kamala Harris is everywhere as Trump vanishes from the trail, like an unwelcome snow burst.

“You can’t turn on the television without seeing her.” It’s true. She’s doing interviews here. She’s doing rallies there. These days, she’s in every news cycle, usually with cheering crowds behind her.

So the question remains — where is Donald Trump? I imagine he’s eating cheeseburgers for one. There has also been a bit of manic scrawling on Untruth social, and the few times Trump HAS spoken publicly, he’s come off looking like a fool. So yes, Donald Trump has been neither seen nor heard lately, which is OK with this writer and probably you as well. Would that this new reality continue forever.
