Early voting began in Georgia yesterday. By 10:30 a.m., over 71,000 people had cast their ballots according to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Strong turnout is typically a good sign for Democrats, as it was in 2020 when Biden won Georgia for the first time since Bill Clinton won it in 1992. Raffensperger shared some other statistics. Approximately 250,000 absentee ballots were requested, which is expected to grow to 300,000 in the coming weeks. Georgia now uses something called “Ballot Scout,” which allows voters to track their absentee ballots through the mail and acceptance process. Further, improvements have been made to the systems in Georgia that pass muster with bipartisan organizations. Raffensperger also created a system whereby he can monitor wait times, and according to WXIA-TV, voters have spent less than three minutes in line. Not bad for a Republican.

Trump and his cronies, meanwhile, are already thinking of ways to challenge the vote if he loses. In other words, he wants a repeat of 2020. He and Vance are always claiming they’re “looking to the future,” but it doesn’t sound that way. All the lawsuits and everything else Trump tried in 2020 failed. They will similarly fail in 2024. He continues to claim that illegal migrants are voting. Raffensperger has devised a plan that will keep that from happening in Georgia, and likely, other states have the same protocols in place. Trump just needs something to complain about. It’s just like President Barack Obama said: he’s been complaining since he came down his gilded escalator. People know who Trump is, and they’re all lining up to ensure he doesn’t cause trouble.

In Georgia, again, Judge Robert McBurney ruled against the pro-Trump election board members who want to hold up certification of the election. McBurney included in his ruling that the laws of the State of Georgia require the vote to be certified and “no election board may refuse to certify or abstain from certifying election results under any circumstances.” He went on to say: “Georgia voters would be silenced. Our Constitution and our election code do not allow for that to happen.” Raffensperger’s “right hand man,” Gabriel Sterling, who is a conservative, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that McBurney made “the right decision.” Tristen Snell, a former New York prosecutor who successfully sued Trump University called the decision a: “Huge defeat for Trump’s attempts to scuttle the election.” There you have it, Trump. You’ll have to find another way to win Georgia if it doesn’t turn out the way you want, and I can guarantee it won’t.

The mainstream media is trying its hardest to make us believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is in trouble. She’s not in trouble; she’s heading for the White House. Former Trump ally Geraldo Rivera has announced that he’s voting for Kamala Harris because he can no longer take the lies. In his post, he also told everyone who votes for Trump that they are also liars. Other Republicans and Independents are all moving to Harris. She’s like a speeding train that shows no signs of slowing down.
