Among the very online pundits this summer was a clamor for Kamala Harris’ policy page, even though these things don’t really do much for the undecided voters Vice President Harris needs to win the election. If they did, we probably wouldn’t have any undecided voters and they probably would’ve made their party affiliations known years ago.

While the website has a number of crucial talking points for voters, Kamala Harris has been careful to unveil new policy proposals as the campaign progresses, a strategy that helps the media amplify them and also puts the GOP on the defensive. This also helps to keep them from being memory holed by the general public, and allows her supporters to spread the news by word of mouth.

On Monday, she unrolled a series of proposals targeted to Black men – a key part of the coalition she will need to win in November, with initiatives like a National Health Equity Initiative for diseases like prostate cancer and sickle-cell anemia that target this demographic disproportionately and policies that are beneficial to every demographic – with one million forgivable loans up to $20,000 to start small businesses and legalizing marijuana at the federal level and providing payment assistance to lower costs of rent.

It’s important to know what she has to offer, but it’s better if we ourselves communicate key talking points of her plan, voter to voter. Let’s run up the score and elect Kamala Harris on Nov 5 with a Democratic majority to make her plans a reality.
