Confused Donald Trump attacks Detroit while speaking in Detroit

Donald Trump is so deep into cognitive decline, he often doesn’t appear to understand where he’s at or what’s going on. This was underscored today when he gave a speech in Detroit and announced that “Our whole country will end up being like Detroit.”

Where did Trump think he was? You obviously don’t win votes in Detroit by bashing Detroit. There are other more conservative parts of Michigan where this kind of offensive messaging might play well. But Trump didn’t seem to understand what city he was in.

Trump just keeps finding way to say increasingly senile and stupid things. No wonder his babysitters are being cautious about letting him hold events in swing states. Michigan is a key swing state, and Trump just alienated the few supporters he has in Detroit.
