The choice in November is clear. The liars keep lying and get mad when they’re caught. JD Vance has called for a boycott of CBS because they were fact checking him during the debate. This is a simple issue to fix: stop lying, and they’ll stop fact checking. Just as JD Vance declined to acknowledge that Donald Trump did indeed lose the 2020 election, Mike Johnson did the same thing. Reuters even compared him to Vance. Johnson continued his lies by appearing on ABC News with George Stephanopoulos, who blamed him and other Republicans for their lies about Democrats being responsible for Trump’s assignation attempts.

Johnson claimed that he’s been calling for everyone to “turn the rhetoric down,” but the only ones speaking harmful rhetoric are Republicans. Stephanopoulos asked why Johnson refused to denounce Eric Trump’s claims made at Trump’s return to Butler, PA. Stephanopoulos played it back for Johnson. Johnson responded: “I don’t think they’re saying that the Democratic Party tried an assassination attempt. I think what they’re alluding to is what we’ve all been saying. They have got to turn the rhetoric down.” Johnson is certainly a master of evading questions. “Threat to democracy” is not rhetoric. It’s true. All the things that Trump wants to implement point to the dismantling of our democracy. Calling him that is simply stating the truth. It’s not enough to make anyone want to kill Trump. Indeed, the first would-be assassin was a Republican. If we want to quash all these liars and get our government back to work on issues affecting the American people, we need Kamala Harris.

Election day is literally around the corner, and Kamala Harris is wasting no time visiting swing states. She was joined in Ripon, WI by Liz Cheney, who gave a very powerful speech and cracked everyone up with her comment that she’s been in politics longer than Trump has been spray tanning. Harris had said very early on that she was open to having some Republicans in her cabinet, and Cheney would be a good one. Cheney has lost none of her conservatism, but she believes Harris best for the presidency. Harris also has the backing of Republican Voters Against Trump, which launched a series of ads and billboards last week, spending $15 million according to USA Today. Another group assisting in this election is Haley Voters for Harris, who have spent seven figures on digital ads. The latter group is focusing on Harris being better for the economy than Trump, though some people don’t seem to get it. If they paid attention, it would make sense.

According to MarketWatch, the jobs report for September revealed the creation of 254,000 jobs and unemployment dropping to 4.1%, which is the second month in a row it has fallen. Perhaps Donald Trump can now see what Harris and Biden have been doing for the last three and a half years, and it gives a hint into who’s best to handle the economy, not to mention inflation, which also fell to 2.2% Harris is the right person for the presidency. Next week, President Obama will join her on the campaign trail. Let’s make sure she gets there.
