Donald Trump is still melting down today about the Jack Smith bombshell in completely manic fashion
When Jack Smith’s revised filing against Donald Trump was made public yesterday, it made clear that Smith indeed has Trump nailed for crimes related to January 6th. Smith has successfully worked around the limitations that the Supreme Court placed on the case, the evidence is overwhelming, and Trump will be convicted and sent to prison if he loses this election.
Trump responded to the filing by immediately launching into one unhinged all caps rant after another on social media, making clear that he knew how bad it was for him. By bedtime Trump was still ranting about it. And when Trump woke up this morning he promptly went back to ranting about it in all caps fashion.
In other words Donald Trump knows he’s in serious trouble. He doesn’t expect to win this election, and he does expect to be convicted and imprisoned after he loses. Trump’s over the top response gives that away. And now that Trump has had a night to sleep on it, he’s even more panicked about what’s coming.
