The stars are aligning for Kamala Harris. Pop star Billie Eilish has joined the list of endorsements for Harris. Eilish and her brother Finneas shared a video on National Voter Registration Day, and they had a powerful message for fans. Eilish said that she and her brother are voting for Harris and Walz “because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy.” Big brother Finneas chimed in: “We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future. The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris.” People may not think much about artists like Swift and Eilish lending their fame to the political arena, but they’re doing a brave thing. They could lose fans who are MAGA followers, but these young people don’t care. They know what’s right, and all the money and fame in the world won’t stop their voices. Be on the lookout for a new Harris ad featuring Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over” which features Hadley Duvall, a Kentucky woman who became pregnant after her stepfather raped her at the age of 12, after abusing her since she was 5 years old. It’s a moving story that brings home the point of losing our reproductive freedoms. This is yet another extraordinary young woman, sharing her pain for our future.

Harris is exceeding expectations in several areas. Of course, everyone has read about how she turned things around in Iowa, where Trump was leading President Biden by 18 points. Harris whittled that lead down to 4 points. She has outperformed both Biden and Clinton in the state. Trump has won the state twice, and it’s not likely that Harris will win there; however, this is yet another sign of how well she’s doing across the country. In fact, the latest ABC News/Ipsos poll gives Harris her first lead outside the margin of error: 52% to 46%. Of course, polling can be very wrong, but it’s still exciting. Even more exciting, a data scientist, Thomas Miller, predicted the outcome of three elections last year, and he was stunningly correct. Let’s hope he can do it twice in a row, as he has predicted that Harris will win “by a landslide.”

Miller’s methods are far too detailed to outline in this piece but suffice it to say that those methods must work for him. He predicted not only that President Biden would win, but he also predicted the victories of Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, both of whom were never expected to win in Georgia. Georgia seems to be lagging a bit on the upcoming race, as Trump still enjoys a small lead; however, 13% of Black voters are still undecided, which could change things drastically. The way things are going so far, the stars truly seem to be aligning for Harris. There are still those who say they don’t “know” Harris and won’t commit to voting for her. They should think about this instead: We well know Donald Trump, and he doesn’t need to be anywhere near the White House.
