Donald Trump has reached the point where he can’t even set himself on fire for attention

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

I’ve been saying for a few weeks now that this election has become the Kamala Harris show, and that Donald Trump can’t seem to shift the narrative back to himself no matter how badly he sets himself on fire for attention.

Trump is resorting to things like talking about serial killers and asking whether Kamala is really Black, and yet he still can’t wrest the nation’s attention away from her.

This proved true again today when Trump got criminally indicted again, this time with a four-count superseding felony indictment brought by Jack Smith in Washington DC. The indictment is getting headlines, but it’s still not the lead story. Trump is at a point in his downfall where he literally has to get indicted again just to get a little attention. Trump is not only losing the election, he’s also losing relevance. This election is the Kamala Harris show, and Trump is rapidly becoming a very flavorless Brand B.
