When politicians are out on the campaign trail meeting with their constituents, there is one thing they absolutely need to have for their travels to be successful. An audience. What happens when one does not get the audience? Well, allow me to tell you what happened to one politician.

The setting was the state of Georgia. It’s not the STATE that got the guffaws. It was the seemingly empty parking lot JD Vance spoke at on Thursday. The rambling speech Vance Gave gave, included a promise to run fake news journalists “out of town”, (then clarifying that he was just kidding), was not a hit. Many commented on the lack of applause Vance received as he made a comment after comment, seemingly waiting for cheers that never came.

If there had been lots of people there, maybe they would have. In fact, many are comparing this campaign stop to Rudy’s Four Seasons press conference back in 2020. Where WERE people? Is Vance THAT unappealing?

The answer to that question is yes, he is, and this brief stop in Georgia is far from the only time that this has happened. But Vance’s humiliation didn’t end there. In a scene reminiscent of an SNL skit,Vance humiliated himself again when trying to order donuts.

One issue was with the employee who took his order. She did not want to be seen with Vance. “I don’t want to be on film,” she told him. The camera crew stopped filming her. But then it got worse. Because Vance inexplicably decided to try to make friends with the employee and let’s just say it didn’t go well.

“I’m JD Vance. I’m running for vice president,” he said.

“Good to see you,” he added.

All he got back was a simple “Okay.”

Ouch! But the fun was not over yet.
Vance could not decide how many donuts to get or what flavor. He finally settled on “some sprinkle stuff. Just whatever makes sense.”

Twitter lit up with laughter, and it seemed like Vance was a fish out of water, flopping around in a net made of social awkwardness, stupidity, and unpopularity. That’s some net! The thing is, JD is a tiny fish in a VERY tiny pond. It would be lovely to win in November and see not just the end of TRUMP’s political career but Vance’s as well.
