Donald Trump knows he’s losing, which is why he’s bringing in familiar faces to try to salvage his dying campaign. But instead of hitting the road to try to turn things around in swing states, Trump is staying home at Bedminster and feebly whining in the form of a “press conference.” It’s not going well.

At one point Trump announced that “The wind is ruining everything, killing all your birds, destroying the fields, all these gorgeous fields.” That’s right, he’s gone so far downhill that he’s gone from ranting about windmills to ranting about the wind.

At another point Trump insisted that the stock market was going to crash, which as the Kamala Harris campaign pointed out, prompted Fox News to immediately remove its on screen stock ticker showing that the DJIA was up by 500 points for the day and over 40,000 in total.

Trump is also attacking the success that President Biden and VP Kamala Harris have had in reducing prescription drug prices, calling it a “con job.” That’s just weak.

Trump also announced that early voting shouldn’t be allowed, right after he himself voted early in the Florida Republican primary. Trump doesn’t even appear to understand what’s going on anymore.

What’s sad for Donald Trump is that this “press conference” was clearly stacked in Trump’s favor, with one reporter asking him why God chose to spare him in the shooting, and another reporter pronouncing Kamala Harris’ first name wrong. And yet Trump still came off as incredibly weak and feeble. He’s not changing anything with these slobber fests.
