“This is not normal behavior”
In presidential elections, the running mate is traditionally supposed to be the attack dog, thus allowing the person at the top of the ticket to keep their hands a little more clean and thus remain looking presidential. When it comes to Kamala Harris, she’s able to slam dunk Donald Trump and JD Vance in the most biting way possible while still coming across as joyful and charismatic while doing so.
That may help explain why she chose Tim Walz as her running mate. As it turns out, Walz has that same natural ability to hit Trump and Vance in biting fashion while also coming across as joyful and charismatic:

Just like his new boss, Tim Walz knows how to drive a point home with a smile on his face. Walz was the first Democrat to go on TV several weeks ago and refer to Trump and Vance as “weird” – and we’ve all seen how well that narrative has stuck. Harris and Walz seem to be birds of a feather.
