Donald Trump just said “I must be cognitively in trouble”
Now that Donald Trump has to run against Kamala Harris, the focus is finally shifting to the fact that Trump is elderly and feeble and keeps displaying symptoms consistent with severe dementia.
One of the most glaring symptoms is his growing obsession with fictional serial killer Hannibal Lecter, whom Trump thinks is 1) a real person, 2) a great person, and 3) dead. Now Trump has done it again – and he’s made it even worse:

That’s right, Trump just said “I must be cognitively in trouble.” Yes, he’s trying to argue that he’s not in cognitive trouble. But to say these exact words, at a time when everyone can see you’re having severe cognitive trouble… it’s just surreal.
By protesting too much, Trump is merely putting even more focus on his worsening cognitive troubles. And really, if you’re insisting you don’t have dementia while you’re praising a fictional serial killer as if he were a real person, you’re making the other side’s argument for you.
