So that’s it?
So Donald Trump gets injured in an assassination attempt, is seen being led off the stage with blood on his ear and face, never does bother to announce a medical status of any kind, surfaces days later at the convention with a gigantic bandage over his ear, then shows up to a rally right after that and suddenly no longer needs a bandage, even as House Republican Ronny Jackson (who is not Trump’s doctor) issues a vague “medical report” that doesn’t pass the laugh test… and that’s it?
Is no one in the media going to question any of this? We still don’t even know for sure whether Trump got shot. It very much appears that Trump was wearing a fake bandage for effect during a nationally televised public appearance. And since no real doctors are allowed to examine Trump and issue their findings, we have no way of knowing if perhaps Trump took a piece of glass to the brain. Trump seemed almost brain damaged during his convention speech. Was that from injury, or was it merely his advancing dementia symptoms?
But that’s it? This is where the media is going to let this raging scandal go cold? They’re going to accept that Ronny bleeping Jackson issued a “medical report” eight days after the fact, and leave it at that? At this point the media is failing us worse than they’ve ever failed us.
