Nancy Pelosi slams New York Times: “they make up news”
If it feels like the New York Times has gone completely off the deep end while trying to manufacture controversy about President Biden’s reelection campaign, you’re not imagining it. Numerous people have stepped forward to call out the NY Times for its increasingly shady behavior, and that includes Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi.
Pelosi appeared on TV to voice her support for President Biden’s decision to seek reelection. But the New York Times decided to mischaracterize Pelosi’s words to falsely make it look like Pelosi isn’t supporting Biden. This prompted Pelosi to fire back, saying “I don’t know what’s happened in New York Times that they make up news.”
That’s pretty damning. Nancy Pelosi is the most effective Speaker of the House in U.S. history and one of the most respected voices in 21st century politics. If she’s calling out the New York Times for making up fake stories, then the New York Times truly has jumped the shark.
