Momentum for Biden 2024 grows – as do the false narratives
The Biden-Harris 2024 campaign just announced that it raised more than a quarter billion dollars in the second quarter. Much of this money came from small dollar donations and first time donors. Crucially, donations to Biden have been surging over the past several days.
It’s more clear than ever that Democrats are uniting and rallying behind President Biden, even as the media continues to pretend that there’s some kind of movement underway to replace him. Some media outlets have even gone as far as falsely claiming that the Democratic Party is trying to officially nominate Biden before the convention in the hope of keeping him from being replaced. But in reality the party already decided awhile ago to nominate Biden early, in order to make sure he’s eligible for the ballot in Ohio.
But this is the game, and we all know how it’s played by now. The media managed to stir up controversy and thus ratings by making up the phony story about Biden being replaced. This has forced leading Democrats to come out and deny the story, which in turn has allowed the media to gin up even more ratings by printing the denials.
And of course, as I pointed out this morning, we’re seeing the media harping on the one new poll that claims Trump is well ahead, while ignoring the multiple new post-debate polls that show Biden ahead and gaining.
