Reality alert: Biden pulls ahead of Trump in post-debate poll
The internet is in a mood right now. Maybe we should call it a “condition.” The CONDITION could aptly be described as “The Twilight Zone.” Those most affected include MAGA, fake pundits and ESPECIALLY — especially – The New York Times..
The New York Times right now can hear the sound of the world’s tiniest violin playing mournfully right now. This is because a nonpartisan group called Political Polls shared some post-debate information. They did a poll. Biden leads Trump post-debate. In the last poll, BEFORE the debate, this group’s results showed a tie. MSNBC’s Chris Hayes tweeted out these words: “No one knows anything….”
Now, polls are mere snapshots in time. But couple this with the incredible fundraising numbers of the Biden campaign AND so many swing voters seemingly turning to Biden, and one does begin to see a picture emerging.
It is a most curious picture! It’s apparent that if said picture had words, those words would say something like this: “You’re screwed, pundits.”
This reminds me of the red wave that never happened in 2022. Will the media never learn? They do this all the time, and then they wonder why so many do not trust them and why their ratings are sinking like the Titanic as more and more viewers abandon them.
The media needs to take a course, and that course should be called “How to judge a debate—substance over style.” Alas, I fear most media pundits would not be able to learn much because their brains are simply too closed off. Now, they’re learning the hard way.
