Donald Trump just lost again

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Has anyone noticed that Donald Trump (convicted felon, insurrection party, soon to be in prison) keeps winning? It’s true! Convicted felon Donald Trump is winning all right — he’s winning at losing. Again and again and again, we hear the words: denied, motion not granted, dismissal.

These words are being put forth by Judges everywhere as Donald Trump, over the last few months and continuing into the present, keeps winning at losing all his appeals—again and again and again. On Tuesday, Trump lost his appeal of the gag order in the hush money case. It was dismissed “on the grounds that no substantial constitutional question is directly involved.”

Ironically, Trump seems to have found his niche, his unique talent — losing. It’s a skill he’s honed over time, a calling card if you will, and one that he’s consistently demonstrated in the courtroom. I mean, at this point, any sports announcer would have a field day with Donald Trump:

“He’s pulling ahead! Another denial. He’s gaining ground. ANOTHER DENIAL.”

“Down the stretch he comes!”

“He’s almost to the finish line. Motion denied! The winner of the I can’t get anyone to take my cases seriously race is convicted felon Donald John Trump!!”

Once again, Donald Trump has found himself on the losing side in court. This pattern of legal setbacks is becoming THE defining characteristic of his utterly miserable life.
