Welcome news for Joe Biden
This week, the media has largely been fixated on Hunter Biden’s trial and what it means, which pretty much runs counter to just about everything they’ve been telling us for the last year and a half about what Donald Trump’s trial will mean, whenever the slightest development happened.
In doing so, it’s easy to overlook the significant breakthroughs that have happened in the last few days, with wage increases still passing the rate of inflation (the latter has dropped to zero for the month of May.) We’ve also seen the growth of small businesses at nearly twice the rate they were prior to the pandemic, with a number of those being small businesses operated by minorities – the biggest growth in a quarter of a century.
On Thursday, Donald Trump, to the surprise of no one, made disparaging remarks about Milwaukee, the city that will be hosting the 2024 Republican National Convention and also located in a swing state that will likely determine who wins in November. It turns out that crime has significantly plummeted under the Biden administration, with 15.1% drops in violent crime over the last year, and even property-related crimes dropping by the same rate – double digit decreases after these figures hit an all-time high during the time of the pandemic just four years ago.
Despite the former guy making headlines with his own stupidity, we see constant reminders of why we’re so much better off than we were just four short years ago. This is the message we need to spread far and wide from now to Nov 5 when we re-elect President Biden and give him a trifecta.
