“The problem is the Republicans”
These days Republican politicians lie about as naturally as the rest of us breathe. But everyone once in awhile, if only out of frustration or a desire to boost their own cache at the expense of their own party, a Republican will tell the truth.
In that regard, House Republican Keith Self just went on Fox and announced that “The problem is the Republicans”:
Fox host: What's wrong with Congress? Why can't you secure the border?
GOP Rep. Self: The problem is the Republicans, not the Democrats. My Republican colleagues are unwilling to vote to secure the border pic.twitter.com/I805brXWfx

.
Well okay then. We approve of this message. It’s not clear what Self thinks he’s trying to do here. But the reality is that every time a Republican politician goes on Fox and bashes the Republican Party, it can help convince a few more Republican voters to stay home in November. So we’ll gladly take the help. Now let’s go use the Republicans’ own words against them.
