We’re now three and a half hours into jury deliberation in Donald Trump’s criminal trial, which isn’t surprising in a case this complex. But the jury did just send a note to the judge, requesting more details about David Pecker’s testimony, Michael Cohen’s testimony, and the Trump Tower meeting.

Legal experts have pointed out that a jury note can be misleading in terms of what the jury is thinking. For instance, if the defense claims a certain witness’ testimony was faulty, and the jury requests a copy of that testimony, the jury could simply be confirming that the defense’s claim is wrong.

But the nature of the juror’s request suggests that they’re very interested in the arguments that the prosecution made. Stay tuned.
