This is a good reminder that the Bronx HATES Donald Trump

As Donald Trump prepares to hold a rally in the The Bronx, residents seem less than thrilled. “I wish that he would just disappear.” That is NOT throwing out the welcome mat. “Nobody I know supports him.” Everyone has theories on why Donald Trump is having this rally in the Bronx. But if he expects hundreds of thousands of dedicated Bronx followers, he may have to eat crow.

Jeffrey Mays of the New York Times spoke to many Bronx residents. The verdict? They’re not welcoming the traitor with open arms. “Predictably, many people in the Bronx are not happy,” he wrote.

“If Trump wins in November, we won’t have a democracy anymore,” one Bronx resident said.

New York Representative Richard Torres remarked that what Donald Trump SHOULD be doing is apologizing to people in the Bronx. “He is so unpopular in the Bronx that he’s radioactive.”

“His approval ratings are lower than that of lead and arsenic.”

Well — that’s one blunt way of putting it! This writer is well acquainted with the Bronx, as I used to have family who lived there. It is a Democratic stronghold. I am not at all worried about this rally. In fact, I’m almost—my friends, almost—looking forward to it.

Why? Because there will not be many people there, though, Trump will lie about it and say that there was. I’d not be surprised if the hunter of all things lawless got a few boos — or a whole LOT of them. Many are talking about this rally on message boards and social media:

“Desperate little beggar.”

“It’d be a something if he went into the wrong neighborhood.”

“Does he ACTUALLY think Bronxers LIKE him?”

“I’m sure the three people that plan to show up will have a great time.”

“Is anyone taking bets he’ll chicken out?”

“He’s trolling for trouble.”

“Televise the Bronx rally!”

“Hope he gets booed off the stage.”

The people of the Bronx are filled with authenticity. They tend to have a low tolerance level for bullshit. As it stands now, The Bronx far from being Trump’s friend, is one giant, authentic middle ginger, telling the traitor to go home.

This was a stupid idea of Trump’s in a sea of stupid ideas, but given that Donald Trump has the IQ of a two-year-old, it is not surprising at all.
