The dumbest man in the room
Believe it or not, there is still a chance that Donald John Trump could testify in his own lack of defense in the New York hush-moment criminal case. At the time of this writing, the Trump team has not decided on that. I know why.
Given Donald Trump’s senility and out of control behavior, not to mention his burning need to show everyone he’s the most intelligent man in the room when, in reality, he’s the dumbest man in the room, it is likely propelling him to want to testify even though I am pretty sure the Trump team has been and will continue to try and talk him out of it.
That’s the thing, though. Trump IS a king — a king of bad decision-making. Oh, how the Greek Gods would have adored Donald Trump! Oh, how they would have toyed with him in delight!
Trump cannot EVER make a good decision. Because of his malignant narcissism, of course, it stands to reason he’d want to testify on his own behalf.
Can one even begin to imagine Trump on the stand? It would be a delicious candied treat for us if Trump testified, a confection of delight were Trump to place his sagging ass on that witness chair.
“Call Donald Trump!” Could it happen? Will it happen? I still think the Trump team, likely very nervous now, might be able to talk him out of it. I hope not. We KNOW Trump wants to try to take over the courtroom and testify.
We KNOW he is aching to yell at people, to call them names, to make faces, and to perhaps fall asleep on the stand. Would that not be delicious? So now we wait. I truthfully a not sure which way this is going to go but the fact is Trump testifying is not yet out of the picture. It is not out of the picture because he is, after all, the dumbest man in the room.
