Donald Trump’s attorneys are reportedly keeping him awake during his trial by showing him pictures of rally crowds

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Last week it was reported that Donald Trump’s attorneys were resorting to giving him folders of documents to flip through during his criminal trial, so that he wouldn’t keep dozing off and falling asleep. Now we know what those documents are, and it’s beyond embarrassing.

Lawrence O’Donnell was in the courtroom earlier today, and he revealed that he saw Trump looking at pictures of rally crowds. No really, Trump’s attorneys have him looking at pictures of crowds from his rallies in order to keep him perked up.

This represents a stunning level of both narcissism and senility. Trump is so far gone, his babysitters have to give him things to look at in order to keep him from falling asleep during his criminal trial. And the things they’ve chosen are photos of the crowds he’s drawn.

This is even more surreal when you consider that Trump’s allies spent the weekend posting fake photos of his recent New Jersey rally (including one that was actually of a Rod Stewart outdoor concert) with massive crowds that Trump didn’t actually draw. So it’s possible that Trump isn’t just spending his trial looking at pictures of his rally crowds, but looking at fake pictures of his rally crowds.
