Is Trump about to fire his attorneys?
I am going to make a prediction. Now, this prediction is not definitive. But it IS a strong possibility and a possibility that NOBODY is talking about. Donald Trump’s trial is not going well. Witness after witness is demolishing him. Trump can’t stop them, either. All he can do is sit there, make faces, and huddle with his attorneys.
Ah – his ATTORNEYS. My prediction has to do with them. These hapless attorneys have become punching bags, wholly-owned punching bags of Donald John Trump. Trump’s lawyers reportedly are being screamed at by a livid Trump, who has become whiny, belligerent, and full of blame for these lawyers.
As Bill Palmer outlined, this has caused his lawyers to make mistakes. They’re out of their element, as is any attorney with this orange nitwit for a client. As the trial continues, Trump will likely become increasingly dour and more stormy, pardon the pun.
Will he fire them? Maybe. But here is my prediction. Donald Trump may decide to represent himself. You know the expression that if someone represents themselves at trial, they have a fool for a client? Look, the people who choose to represent themselves at trial are ALWAYS the stupid ones. They do it because of their sense of grandiosity. In their deranged thinking, they know better than the judge.
It is not a surprise that Trump’s lawyers are seeking to please him even though their mental jumping jacks are starting to piss off the judge. But look at it like this: if one was cast out into deep, and cold waters, and someone came along with a life preserver, one might say whatever they could to could get that life preserver, right?
So, Trump’s lawyers do what their client wants: picking fights with the judge and so on. It’s reported that Trump wants his lawyers to be more argumentative and the tougher these lawyers get, the angrier his honor will be.
Donald Trump will, too, because it won’t work. Nothing will work. Nothing, and nobody is coming to save him. He is on the hook. So why not represent himself? Because, in Trump’s warped views, nobody is more intelligent than him. Nobody.
Of course, it would be PARADISE were this to happen. And I am not saying it WILL happen. But it IS a distinct possibility, and I am CERTAIN the thought has crossed the mind of the little Mar-a-Lago loser. So stay tuned.
