This is just embarrassing for Donald Trump’s attorney Todd Blanche
Earlier this week Donald Trump leaked to the media that he was unhappy with his lead attorney in his criminal trial, Todd Blanche. That’s embarrassing enough for Blanche. But today things took a surreal turn in the courtroom, when the subject of Trump’s gag order violations came up.
After prosecutors argued that four of Trump’s remarks (made just before the jail time warning) are indeed gag order violations, Trump’s legal team decided to fight back by arguing that the witnesses were trying to bait Trump into responding.
This included Todd Blanche reading aloud a tweet from Michael Cohen, in which he referred to Trump as “Vonshitzinpants.” So here we are with Trump’s own attorney having to stand there in court and essentially refer to Trump as shitting his pants. This is embarrassing both for Trump and Blanche.
