Donald Trump’s handlers resort to desperate measures to try to keep him from falling asleep during his criminal trial
It’s bad enough for Donald Trump that he’s on criminal trial. It’s even worse for him that he keeps falling asleep during said trial. The media has begun harping on it, and it’s sending a clear message to persuadable voters in the middle that Trump isn’t just a criminal, he’s a senile criminal.
Now it turns out Trump’s handlers are resorting to desperate measures to try to keep him from continuing to doze off. This reporter says that Trump’s team is making a point of never leaving him alone at the defense table, and handing him piles of paperwork to look through, specifically so that he’ll stay awake:

This is just plain embarrassing. If Donald Trump is too feeble and senile to stay awake during his own criminal trial, then he’s too feeble and senile to be a candidate in any political election. As I’ve been saying for the past year, Trump’s worsening senility is the biggest story in politics, and has the potential to finish him off politically before his trials even can. Now we’re starting to see it play out.
