Good news for the Democrats

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

As we’re coming up on President Biden’s reelection, North Carolina has emerged as a potential battleground. It was a photo finish for Donald Trump back in 2020, decided by less than 70,000 votes and just over a percentage point.

That suggests that President Biden may have even carried the state back then, with the Democratic candidate for governor winning reelection and a fairly close senate race between Sen. Thom Tillis and Democrat Cal Cunningham, and that was despite Cunningham facing a considerable sex scandal.

We might not have a senate race in NC this year (that will be in 2026), but polling now is within the margin of error for President Biden – with white support holding around 30% that he would need to win the tarheel state. There’s been three consecutive polls so far that show the race within spitting distance, and a new one from Meredith College has gubernatorial candidate Josh Stein enjoying a 9-point lead over his Republican opponent Mark Robinson, a rabid Holocaust denier and antisemite who has made no secret about signing a potential abortion ban in the state if he’s elected.

Roy Cooper won his race by four points in 2020, which suggests that this race will come down to the wire, but it’s clear that if we put in the work now to help President Biden win the state and elect Josh Stein on Nov 5, we’ll win the White House once again.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
