Donald Trump is well and truly stumped. It’s like he’s playing a momentous game of Scrabble and can’t find any letters to form a coherent word — on the issue of abortion. Every day, Trump changes his mind about where he stands. Now, even Trump SUPPORTERS are starting to get upset.

Trump keeps trying to step away from the issue, but nobody is letting him. You see this archaic Arizona law has done some serious damage to the GOP cause. Trump MUST know that. That’s likely why he can’t open his mouth and find a cohesive position to take.

Some ultra-conservatives are VERY upset. “Last straw!” one Twitter user wrote dramatically, on Twitter.” I’m very disappointed.” “He’s backing away from a national ban.”

On the OTHER side are the moderates. “This concerns me. Republicans are getting to the extreme.” Reporters and voters have now taken to asking Trump straight-up – WHAT is your position on abortion?

Trump usually says stuff like this. You know my position. Well, no, Donnie. They don’t. How can anyone know your position when YOU do not even seem to know what it is?

Watching Trump, the big bully, run from this issue, tale between his legs is hilarious. “He’s trying to neutralize an issue that cannot be neutralized.” Those words were said by Charlie Sykes this week on MSNBC. He is correct. Abortion is HUGE. It is not going to go away.

Yet it seems the one responsible for Roe’s falling, the one who appointed three dishonest extreme Justices, cannot seem to understand, on a granular level, the importance of this issue. On the contrary, he is suddenly VERY anxious to sneak away whenever the abortion question comes up. Only this is one issue that is not going ANYWHERE. Trump will have to learn to deal with that.
