Donald Trump has bizarre debacle at a Chick-Fil-A in Atlanta
Donald Trump’s handlers have pulled the plug on most of his rallies and campaign appearances, because his speeches at said events are so senile they attract negative headlines. But Trump’s people know they can’t keep him hidden 100% of the time or it’ll generate other kinds of negative headlines about how he’s in hiding.
And so Trump’s people sent him into a Chick-Fil-A in Atlanta today for what we’re supposed to believe was a non-staged occurrence. But here’s the thing. Not one person inside the restaurant seemed to have any issue with Trump being in there. And this is a country where polling says the majority of Americans hate Trump and think he’s a criminal.
One way or another, this whole thing was obviously staged. Some observers are arguing that since it’s a Chick-Fil-A in what appears to be a white neighborhood, it’s not surprising that he’d find supporters there. But this argument ignores how math and statistics work. Even if you want to argue that perhaps two-thirds of the customers in such a scenario would be Trump supporters, the other one-third of the customers would be anti-Trump, and some of them would be rather vocal about it.
So this thing was obviously a setup. In any case, the bar is now set so low for Trump that his handlers are left trying to prove that he’s not too senile to figure out how to order food – from a menu board with pictures. Trump can correctly identify a picture of a milkshake. Congratulations, we guess.
