The Great Republican Purge is underway
Working for the RNC (Republican National Committee) these days can’t much fun. Why Because as I write this, the RNC is saying two words to its employees: “You’re fired.” The great Republican purge has begun.
Yes, it has come to this. Dozens and dozens of employees are getting pink slips. Politico calls it a “bloodbath.” Some are being fired. Others are being asked to resign. At a time when the RNC should be staffing UP, they are staffing DOWN. How smart of them! That’ll win them some elections, for sure.
Hmm.. Who is responsible for this, do you think? Do you think it could be a big, loud-mouthed pile or orange? Do you suppose he’s been whispering in a few ears? In an email, the RNC’s new chief operating officer noted that the new leadership is busy “evaluating the organization and the staff.”
Uh-oh. I smell misery. They want to ensure the RNC building is “aligned,” this bonkers email said. It is a new day, friends and readers. It is a new day for BOTH political parties.
One political party has raised millions in just a few days. This political party (also called the Democratic Party) has as its leader a fine man, a man with a plan to win.
People are excited, and they’re fired up. Even, some pundits who don’t usually say ANYTHING nice about Democrats (I’m looking at YOU, Welker) are admitting it (a bit.)
The Democratic party is in array. The other party is falling apart at the seams. That’s probably because their candidates are insane, their leader is insane (and an insurrectionist), and their agenda (which is basically nothing) is ALSO insane.
This party, the republican party, is comprised of women haters, LGBTQ haters, miserable old white men who can’t communicate, Turmp defenders, misogynists, and newly fired (or about be) RNC employees (former.) So, looking at the two sides, whom would YOU choose? I’d say Democrats – the odds are ever in your favor.
