“Trump Employee 5” just exposed Donald Trump’s Bedminster plot

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The federal criminal indictment against Donald Trump has already long made clear that Trump was attempting to move classified documents from Mar-a-Lago to Bedminster in order to hide them. But now one of the witnesses, known as “Trump Employee 5” in the indictment, is speaking publicly to the media about the case. And it turns out things were even uglier than we knew.

Trump Employee 5 reveals that Trump had him pack up classified documents and load them on a plane to Bedminster just as the Feds were showing interest in the documents. This employee says he didn’t know that these were classified documents at the time, which exonerates him. But it absolutely nails Trump for obstruction of justice and Espionage Act crimes.

Of course this is leading internet pundits to resume frantically screaming “SEARCH BEDMINSTER!!!!!!!!” – as if no one in charge had ever thought of that. But this is an almost hilariously simplistic take. When the Feds first learned that there were classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, they cultivated sources at the property, who helped them secretly identify the locations of the documents. Then they went in with a warrant and seized those documents from those locations.

It’s plainly obvious that the Feds would have used the same approach when it comes to Bedminster. First they would have cultivated cooperating sources within the property, in order to secretly identify the locations of the documents. Then the Feds would have seized those documents. If Trump weren’t home at the time, such a move would likely never have become public. After all, the Mar-a-Lago search only became public because Trump knew it was happening and went public with it in real time.

This can’t be stressed enough: Jack Smith and the Feds have long known everything that Trump Employee 5 said to the media tonight, and much more. Keep in mind that Jack Smith built his Trump indictment largely on the testimony of Trump Employee 5. This is all old news to Smith. As is the notion that he should “SEARCH BEDMINSTER!!!” Whatever Jack Smith and the Feds did regarding Bedminster, it obviously happened a long time ago. The Twitter pundits frantically yelling simplistic things tonight are way behind the curve, not ahead of the curve.
