Jack Smith seemingly hints at Donald Trump selling nuclear secrets
We’re still at that stage where Donald Trump is making desperate nonsense filings and Special Counsel Jack Smith is swatting them down like flies. But what’s already standing out is that Smith keeps citing the example of a President selling nuclear secrets while making his argument against Trump’s motions.
This is now the third time that Jack Smith has used this specific example in a court filing against Trump. Keep in mind that Smith still knows a lot more about Trump’s classified document crime spree than we do.
Publicly available evidence only points to Donald Trump having stolen classified documents (including nuclear secrets) and having hidden those documents when he was asked to return them. But you really have to wonder if Jack Smith is trying to tell us that there’s more going on here than is publicly known. It’ll all come out once we get closer to trial.
