When the week began and it became clear that the verdict in Donald Trump’s New York civil fraud case was coming this Friday, Trump went on an angry defeatist tirade about how it was that this was happening to him.
But now that we’ve reached Trump Bankruptcy Eve, so to speak, Trump has gone remarkably silent about it. Instead he’s posting nothing at all on social media, even as his handlers make multimedia posts on his behalf aimed at putting spin on his criminal cases.
So what’s Trump doing right now? He’s probably in the fetal position, sitting up all night and waiting for the hammer to drop on his financial house of cards in the morning. That is, if his increasingly dementia-addled brain even remembers that the verdict is coming tomorrow. Tick tock.
