This is just embarrassing for Elise Stefanik
January 6, 2021: “This is truly a tragic day for America. I fully condemn the dangerous violence and destruction that occurred today at the United States Capitol. Americans have a constitutional right to protest, and freedom of speech, but violence in any form is absolutely unacceptable and anti-American! The perpetrators of this un-American violence and destruction must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Wow. What an excellent statement! I agree with every word of it! This statement fully blames the January 6 terrorists for what occurred at the Capitol and calls for peace in America. So which Democrat released that statement? Of course, it IS a Democrat. No Republicans would EVER say something like that. Wrong.
This statement was released by Elise Stefanik on January 6, 2021, the day evil came to the Capitol. How quickly things change! Stefanik, of course, does not want to be reminded of the fact that she USED to be human before she submerged herself in polluted Republican waters only to become a shape-shifter of the most insurrection-supporting type.
This statement came back to bite Stefanik in her cowardly person. First, she reportedly deleted the statement from her website. See, readers? This is the Trump curse. Stefanik might believe those words, but there are places to go and people to snow! And a possible VP position to shamelessly throw herself at!
Can’t have those pesky little statements about peace on earth on HER website! Liz Cheney, however, recirculated it. She shared it on Twitter. There it was — The remains of the days Republicans actually pretended to have souls.
Cheney also said the following in the tweet:
“This is what Elise Stefanik said in a rare moment of honesty about the January 6 attack on our Capitol.”
“One day, she will have to explain how and why she morphed into an a total crackpot.”
“History and our children deserve to know.”
Is there anything better than humiliating an insurrectionist supporter? I truly don’t think that there is. It really is hard to believe the acting that folks like Elise put themselves through. One would imagine it does get kind of exhausting.
