The dogs of war

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We are living in interesting times indeed. America has been tested these last few years. We have been fighting Republicans and their gruesome agenda for what seems like forever. It’s been a difficult time. Such are the ramifications of the Dogs of War.

And it HAS been a war. Republicans started it. They waged war on women. They waged war on the LGBTQ community. They have waged war on helpless children, such as the children of Uvalde, Texas. Dogs of war “symbolize a force that, once unleashed, is challenging to control.”

“It compares war to a pack of wild and controllable dogs.” That’s what we’ve fought against. We continue to fight. But we’re winning in a million different ways. Allow me to demonstrate some of these wins. Two new polls are out. Both show Joe Biden leading Donald Trump. Ipsos is one of the polling organizations. YouGov is the other. Both show Biden ahead of Trump.

We’ve also won a battle in the state of Texas. An appeals court has upheld a ruling against Texas book bans. What’s more, the ruling came from a CONSERVATIVE court. While the case is contested, they have affirmed a temporary block on banning books in public libraries. This is huge.

We’re also winning in terms of dollars raised. President Biden is raising millions, and they’re all from small-dollar donors. This is while so many insist Biden is not popular. Yes, he is, and this proves it.

I could spend ten hours listing all the ways we’re winning. The bottom line is the GOP went to the depths of hell and released the dogs of war on us. But we didn’t run. We chose to fight for our country, fight for our President, and fight to be the winners of all elections, great and small.

This week Donald Trump sits in court, a prisoner of a magnificent and spirited lady named E Jean Carroll. There are no exit ramps for him. He can’t get out of this one. Trials will soon be starting. The countdown to the 2024 election is beginning.

And we’ve fought — and fought — and fought. We’ve fought lies and insurrection and high crimes and misdemeanors and wars on women and wars on truth, justice, and the American way, all of which are the dogs of war the GOP unleashed upon us.
