Here’s more good polling news for Joe Biden that the media will ignore
To hear the media tell it these days, Donald Trump has already won the 2024 election and has already become a dictator – and there’s nothing left for you to do but stare at your screen in horror and boost the media’s ratings. This narrative is based entirely on certain polls that show Joe Biden supposedly behind Donald Trump.
But in reality there are polls that show Biden ahead, polls that show Trump ahead, polls that show them tied, and it’s too early to take any of it seriously. The kicker is that the media tends to only highlight the polls that show Trump ahead, because that’s a good way to scare people into staying tuned in.
So we probably won’t hear much about the new Reuters poll that has Biden ahead of Trump across all swing states by four points. But it’s important to keep in mind that for every bad Biden poll that gets hyped to the moon, there’s a good Biden poll that the media pretty much ignores entirely.
It’s bad enough that there’s so much questionable polling data these days. It’s even worse that the media flat out misleads us about what the polls are even saying. In any case, all this “Biden is doomed” talk from the media is manufactured nonsense. Even the polls, on the whole, don’t say that.
