From Russia With Hate

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $2097 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Somewhere far, far away, a celebration was going on. It was a television celebration in which Republicans were praised, complimented, and smiled upon. “Well done, Republicans!” So what did the Republican Party DO to cause such a celebration? And just WHO was celebrating them in the first place?

The ones who celebrated the Republican party of AMERICA were not, in fact, Americans. They were Russians, and the celebration aired on Russian state TV with Russian propagandist Olga Skabeeva casting approval on the GOP for their blocking of aid to Ukraine.

If this seems a bit surreal to you, it should. The Republican Party is now being celebrated as a friend to Russia. Good job screwing America over, Republicans!

“They’re standing firm,” Russian TV said approvingly. “This will be a great revelation to other countries. It is even more dangerous to be a friend of the United States than its enemy.”

“In the end, they will abandon you, leaving nothing but the scorched earth on your territory.” So yes, my dear friends, it has come to this. The GOP is being celebrated on state TV as friends to Russia.

From Russia with hate. Russian also shot cruise missiles into Ukraine for the first time in awhile. It had been almost three months since they had done that.

Republicans have been tying up aid to Ukraine. And apparently, their actions have not gone unnoticed by the Kremlin, who seems to approve. It appears Republicans have, after all this time, found something they do well — making Russia proud is that thing.
