Senile Donald Trump gives away secret of how badly he blew negotiations with China
One of the key aspects of cognitive decline is that you no longer remember what you’re not supposed to say. Suddenly you’re blabbing your secrets, blabbing the secrets of those around you, and revealing embarrassing things about yourself.
This brings us to Donald Trump, who thinks Obama is still President and there has only been one World War. It’s not just that Trump is losing entire chunks of history. It’s that he’s also revealing things from his past that make him look really bad.
For instance, Trump is now telling this bizarre story about how he thought the Chinese government said “50” when they said “15” back when he was in office, and it complicated the negotiations between the two nations:
Trump says he couldn’t hear well while negotiating with China as president: I thought they said 50. They said 15, I thought they said 50 pic.twitter.com/y3R9eDOKTw

.
The story here is not that Donald Trump misheard a number while talking with China a few years ago. The story is that his cognitive abilities are failing so badly, he no longer understands why he shouldn’t tell a story like this. Trump is going to keep blurting out embarrassing things from his past like this, because he no longer understands that he’s not supposed to. This tendency will only get worse for him.
