Stupid is as stupid does
I never hesitate to marvel at folks like Donald Trump Junior. How do people such as him exist without brains? They may walk the planet with us, but they’re missing the ability to think. It must be difficult to be one of these human animals, doomed to wander the earth saying and doing remarkably stupid things, in extremely stupid ways.
Donald Trump Junior (brainless, insurrection party, Twitter) is facing a great deal of backlash after tweeting out a picture of a painting similar in look to the work of Norman Rockwell.
In this painting, one can see a family enjoying a homey Thanksgiving meal — while an FBI agent stands outside the window — with a gun. Trust Junior to try to dirty up the good name of Norman Rockwell. My gosh, readers, this man is stupid. It is truly remarkable that stupidity like this exists, is it not?
Anyway, as you might expect, Junior’s warped tweet didn’t go over too well, with many outraged at the disrespect shown toward both Rockwell AND the FBI. “Why do you hate Law Enforcement?” one Twitter user ironically asked. I use that word — ironically, for a reason. The GOP has spent DECADES trying to convince the American people THEY are the party of law and order. Well, we know THAT’S not true.
And all it took were the males of the Trump family to send THAT message crashing down. Junior and his insurrectionist daddy have not stopped attacking, on social media, the FBI, DOJ, CIA, and even the Capitol Police. Watching these two mental misfits is truly a lesson in stupidity. “The Trump family cowardice is adorable!”
Twitter users appeared infuriated with Junior. I follow him (I know, I know. All I can say is: keep your enemies close.) So yes, I follow Junior mostly because when he does something THIS stupid, I might be inclined to write about it. Others appear to ALSO follow Junior, although not for the reasons he might think.
“You’re a moron.” Many follow Junior to laugh at him. I don’t blame them. A scourge on society like Junior does seem to exist for our viewing amusement.
“Is this a joke?” I don’t blame Twitter users for asking this question. It’s simply amazing to believe such stupidity really does exist. But indeed it does and this is the way Junior is choosing to spend his Thanksgiving. Stupid is as stupid does, I suppose.
