Tick tock Donald Trump
Donald Trump is always talking about himself when he thinks he’s insulting others. The Meidas Touch reposted his latest Truth Social rant: “In honor of our great Veterans on Veteran’s Day, we pledge to you that we will root out the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our Country, lie, steal, and cheat on Elections, …” Trump is the biggest fascist this country has ever seen, and he’s the one who has repeatedly lied in his efforts to steal the election from Joe Biden. He can’t even allow us to celebrate the sacrifices made by veterans without his vicious lies, including claiming to pass the VA Choice Act, which was passed by President Obama in 2014. He is the opposite of Joe Biden, who made a heartfelt speech on behalf of Veterans. That’s the reason he lost the election to Biden, who promised to restore the soul of our nation, which is all but impossible while Trump continues his antics. Hopefully, we’ll be rid of him soon.
Trump continues to attack Jack Smith, who quietly continues beefing up his prosecutions. It was reported last week that Jack Smith might call a plumber, a maid, a chauffeur, and a woodworker to testify. While we’re not yet sure what their testimony will reveal, you can bet that these typically unnoticed employees have seen plenty. Trump has, of course, heard about it and took to Truth Social to rage. He’s still claiming that the Presidential Records Act gave him the right to take classified documents to Mar-a-Lago when, in fact, the opposite is true.
According to Newsweek, former federal prosecutor Michael McAuliffe opined that these workers could give details on how the resort operates and confirm that the resort was not a safe place to store sensitive documents. McAuliffe also told Newsweek that workers could “provide distinct pieces of inside evidence supporting the foundation of the case against Donald Trump,” including the lack of security at the resort. McAuliffe also pointed out that these employees have likely already been interviewed multiple times. Elie Honig, CNN legal analyst, added that these types of witnesses will be more “relatable” to people on the jury, who might see themselves in their positions. They are also “insiders” because they work inside the resort, and juries may be more inclined to believe their testimony than that of allies or Washington insiders. It’s a very smart move on Smith’s part.
Trump is completely outmaneuvered by Smith. Smith has more brains in one pinkie than Trump has in his entire head. If Trump were innocent as he proclaims, why doesn’t he display things that show his innocence? Likely, because no such evidence exists. Trump shows his guilt through his continued bad behavior and threats. An innocent man would have no need to attack prosecutors; he would simply await his day in court to reveal the evidence that exonerates him. We all know Trump is guilty. His guilt has played out in the public eye, and he has nothing that will refute what we’ve already seen.
