Nancy Pelosi piles on as it all falls apart for Jim Jordan
Nancy Pelosi never once lost a vote for Speaker of the House at the hands of her own party. Jim Jordan has managed to do it twice in twenty-four hours. Now it appears Jordan is on track to lose for a third time tomorrow morning.
Pelosi didn’t mince words, saying this to the media this afternoon: “I think it’s a triumph for democracy in our country that an insurrectionist was rejected by the Republicans again as their candidate for Speaker.”
Meanwhile Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats have now voted unanimously in favor of Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker of the House seventeen times so far this year.
