The jobs report for September came back – offering yet more good news on the economy – as the Biden administration has once again managed to exceed expectations with 336,000 new jobs added last month.

The media that spent much of the spring warning us that a recession is just around the corner was clearly prepared to reveal a dismal jobs report and suggest that Bidenomics was not working for the American people – but despite receiving a taste of good news, New York Times and CNN decided to forge ahead with the laughable claim that even though the jobs report is good, there’s still something amiss – playing up the fact that your own personal prejudices have a lot to do with the economy.

President Biden, however, stood by his economic policies and touted the good news – stating that the way the media has been advancing the narrative has been disastrous – and the reason that an overwhelming number of people think that the changing economy is getting worse, when the reality shows that hiring over the summer leading us to now was much more robust than previously thought.

“You all are not the happiest people in the world, what you report. And I mean this sincerely. It gets – you get more legs when you’re reporting something that’s negative,” President Biden said when addressing the media about their persistent need to chase ratings and hype up doomsday scenarios – a cycle that’s regularly been doing more harm than good. While this is correct, bear in mind that the only one who can really make a difference in how the media gives coverage is you – turn off the TV and stop giving these naysayers the ratings they’re after.
