Donald Trump’s Achilles’ heel
In the midst of the Trojan war, Achilles was killed by Paris the Trojan Prince because Achilles was not immortal in the sense that he had one vulnerability, and that was his heel — his Achilles’ heel. And that’s where the Prince aimed his arrow.
That is how this colorful expression came to be. Oh, believe me, everybody has an Achilles’ heel. During times of war, opponents carefully size up the enemy, looking for that one thing, the Achilles’ heel, their weakness.
Donald Trump has an Achilles’ heel. Donald Trump’s Achilles heel is that he cannot tell the truth. He can’t and probably never has, had an honest moment in his life. This is Donald Trump‘s Achilles’ heel. This is what doomed him and will continue to do so.
Donald Trump has done a re-shuffling of the deck with his lawyers. He replaced his leading attorney. This is a particularly unwise move, given that he did this on the day he is to turn himself in.
But you can imagine why can’t you? It is likely Trump was given some advice that he didn’t like.Perhaps his legal representation unencumbered by the Achilles heel of lying told him the truth, told him something that the Donald did not like
So Donald Trump made him pay for it because nobody hates honesty like the one with the Achilles’ heel of lying. Trump’s interview with Tucker Carlson the night before his arrest was also a bust.
Trump will not SAY it’s a bust because his Achilles heel constantly itches ,itches to tell lies. But the truth is it was a great big nothing burger. Some people could not even FIND it on Twitter. Others found it but complained, using the one word Trump hates.
Boring. Trump mocked lots of people as he babbled on like an idiot, which he is. His paranoia was rampant as he talked about how Democrats hate him so very deeply. I did not watch this fun-filled event but I did read about it after and the reviews are not good, not good at all.
Trump also lashed out on truth social. He lashed out at Mike Pence, he lashed out at Fox non- news. He’s lashing out at everyone and everything and lying frantically as his Achilles heel completely takes over his being.
I imagine this week will go down in history as one of the worst weeks of trump’s life. For it is the week of his turning himself in for the fourth but far from the last, arrest. It is Donald Trump’s moment of misery.
