Waste of space
The House Judiciary Committee is little more than a joke. The members are not in the least interested in their constituents nor are they concerned about the administration of justice. They are all about revenge and trying to protect Donald Trump. They are not only a waste of taxpayer dollars, but they are a waste of space. Anytime anyone goes after Donald Trump, they go after them. Did it ever occur to any of them that, perhaps, Donald Trump is a criminal who deserves what he’s getting from law enforcement? According to CNN, they now want to go after the Fulton County DA for prosecuting Trump. Good luck with that. Has she mismanaged funds? Has she bypassed normal procedure in bringing her indictment? Neither of the above. She is merely doing her job of following where the law takes her.
The House Judiciary Committee members should know, more than anyone else, that criminal charges ultimately stem from the grand jury. Prosecutors present them with evidence, and they vote on whether to issue a true bill. End of story. But you have a bunch of stupid Trump ass-kissing Republicans leading the committee, beginning with its incompetent chairman, Jim Jordan. Jordan is an idiot. He has no legitimate reason to investigate Willis. This is all about kissing Trump’s expansive ass. Do they honestly think Donald Trump is going to win another term and do them favors? It is highly unlikely that Trump will win in 2024, and even if he were to win, he would turn his back on them in a heartbeat just as he does with anyone else. These idiots were elected to serve the people, not Donald Trump.
As if Jim Jordan isn’t bad enough, lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene is trying to stir up a state investigation into Willis. This is all so stupid and such a waste of time and money. This is so simple a 2-year-old can do the math: if Trump is innocent of charges currently pending against him, he will be exonerated. He doesn’t need their help. It is utterly pathetic to see members of Congress behaving like high school boys who want to win their girlfriends back. Greene wants to consult with James Comer, who is still wiping the egg off his face from his whistleblowers, and Jordan is grasping at straws. He had the nerve to write a letter to DA Willis, calling the indictment politically motivated. Next, they’ll be going after District Judge Steve Jones for denying Meadows and Clark’s motions to move their cases to federal court. Perhaps he’s politically motivated as well. What a crock.
Jordan and his fellow clown car members need to do their job, which does not include impeaching President Biden or stopping various law enforcement entities from indicting their hero, Donald Trump. They do nothing more than make a mockery of representation. Even one unnamed Republican told CNN: “Nobody is paying attention other than the people who are obsessed with Trump.” Hopefully, this means of “governing” works for them, but it is not governing at all.
