Useful idiot
So the whole world is whispering about Donald Trump’s insane meltdown in Truth Social, where he mused about fleeing to Russia. As Bill Palmer has already laid out for you, that was one freaky message — freaky and a little genuinely creepy as well.
Could he actually do it, people whisper. Could he do it? Would he do it? I doubt it. But one never knows, does one? Trump is, right now, an enemy of the state — of America. She is prosecuting him for his crimes against her. Trump, therefore, looks at America as an enemy.
Now Putin — Putin in Donald’s warped brain respects him! He actually LIKES AND LOOKS UP TO The Donald. The very fact that Trump brought Russia up at all tells you he’s mulled this option over. And he’s likely done it because, in his mind, Putin sees him as powerful, a true warrior! But Donald Trump gets this wrong as well.
Putin is a psychopath who has no feelings for anyone. He likely hates Donald Trump but wanted him as President to be Putin’s useful idiot. Useful idiot. That is ALL Trump has EVER been to Putin — a stupid but (occasionally) useful idiot.
Trump has no similarities to Putin except extreme cruelty. Trump is a little guppy facing down a giant shark. Putin is smarter than Trump (most people are), and somehow, I do not think Putin would want the Donald frantically fleeing to him for help.
This is because Trump’s purpose is over. That’s the thing about useful idiots. They usually wear out their welcome. They usually don’t stay useful for all that long.
So as a frantic and babbling Donald Trump looks for someone to save him, perhaps he’s thought about fleeing to Russia — because in his mind Putin would surely help him right? His beloved Putin ADORES him and knows that Donald Trump is right.
Not quite. Trump, in the spirit of useful idiots everywhere, does not KNOW he’s a useful idiot. He doesn’t know Putin likely doesn’t give a damn about him. He doesn’t KNOW that Putin likely sees him as the same joke most people in America do.
Trump is disintegrating into mush — that much is obvious, or he’d never have posted such a stupid thing. But he’s now been reduced to seeking help from anyone! Anyone! He’s afraid, and he is slowly starting to grasp, I believe, just how much trouble he is in. But being a USELESS idiot, all he’ll likely do is rant and rave about it all, which will get him nowhere.
