Donald Trump gets DENIED!
Denied! Donald Trump’s week started with a bang on Monday as the Manhattan Judge whom Trump had demanded recuse himself gave Trump his answer. DENIED! Sorry, Charlie. Oh, how Crazy Donald wanted this Judge off the case! He used every excuse in the book, none of them having anything to do, of course, with reality.
The Judge’s daughter had done some work for a Democratic firm. That was one reason used. I do not get that. So in Trump’s warped mind, any judge of his or any of their family members must be Republican? Is this a new law I’ve not heard of?
Of course not! It’s just the morality-challenged traitor making a big deal out of nothing the way he usually does. This judge had been asked in June by the Trump team to recuse himself from the case. Of course, he said no. The judge explained on Monday that he’d “examined his conscience” and is extremely confident that he can make a judgment in this case fairly and impartially.
“The speculative and hypothetical scenarios offered by the Defendant fall well short of the legal standard,” he wrote. Basically, that translates to give it up, Donald. There are many more important things for me to do than listen to your frivolous complaints and whining.
One of the other reasons Trump was demanding he recuse is because the judge had donated $35 dollars to Democrats. This is an absurdly stupid reason to ask for a recusal but Trump and Stupidity ARE joined at the hip so I suppose it does make a warped sort of sense..
Trump will likely not be happy with this ruling, but given that virtually EVERY LITTLE PIECE of news in the last few weeks has been bad news for him, this should not come as a surprise. Alvin Bragg has got to be smiling at this decision.
Trump should really be trying to prepare SOME type of defense in ALL his cases rather than file absurd motions like this.
Then again — there really isn’t any type of defense, is there? I imagine it must be like being trapped in a horror film for Trump. I mean think about it — this is a man who once had people literally catering to him, willing to do anything he asked, filling his orange ears with false stories about how great he is.
And now? He’s barely a blip on the radar — not anymore. Many have abandoned him. Others have forgotten him. All he’s really got is himself, Truth Social and that’s it. And now he has TWO Judges he can’t stand. And it’s just Monday! Who knows what will happen by the end of the week?
