Donald Trump has complete meltdown on Truth Social after Jack Smith informs him he’s getting indicted again

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Based on what we’ve been watching unfold this month, we could all see that DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith was very near the indictment stage in his Trump 1/6 criminal probe. We’ve been on indictment watch for more than a week now. And sure enough, Jack Smith sent Donald Trump a target letter on Sunday night. It’s taken Trump this long to go public about it, but now he’s exploding about it.

Trump is throwing a fit on Truth Social, complaining that he was having dinner with his family when he received the target letter. The fact that Trump is already trying to portray himself sympathetically, as if he’s the victim here, means that he has no actual defense strategy to try.

What stands out about Trump’s meltdown is that he’s now addressing all of his criminal indictments at once. This will be his third indictment, and he’s also acknowledging that he’s facing a “probable fourth” indictment in Fulton County in a few weeks.

We won’t be shocked if Jack Smith also indicts Trump in New Jersey, and there are also state level criminal probes into Trump in Michigan and Arizona. So he could be looking at getting indicted seven times. But for now the key is that he’s a few days from his third indictment, and a few weeks from his fourth indictment. And both those indictments are centered around his criminal attempt at overthrowing the 2020 election. Bring it on.
